A wonderfuly warm and inviting cottage set amidst stunning scenic views
We stayed in this lovely cabin with family last September ( 2012) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was well equipped and furnished ith ( joy of all joys!) a bunk bed much to our children's amazement. It was cosy and our host Mr Jim Bradley was very informative and extremely helpful.. It was a splendid holiday, fantastic value for money and it was very special thanks to Jim's cordial nature and warmth. We will definitely be staying at the Riverside Log Cabins again

Wee gems in the perfect location
Spent a week in cabin 1 over the New Year period and we all found it so good that we will be back again for a long weekend in March, and we already have our 2013/14 festive break booked, Cabins are of excellent quality, everything is spotless and well organised and Jim was there on our arrival to take us through everything the cabin has to offer, a great touch and something that is missed in other cabins we have stayed in.

Lovely, Quiet and Relaxing weekend
We visited our family in Scotland for my Grandad's 80th Birthday, they live not too far from these cabins in Comrie and from the two hotels in Comrie and these cabins, this was by far the best value for money! We could sleep 6 in our cabin for 2 nights for the price of 1 night in the hotels..The cabins themselves are beautiful. Set on their own private plot right next to the river.. I will certainly come back and would recommend these cabins to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a lovely part of the world.

Very relaxing
We arrived on 15th October 2012 for a 4 night stay and we were greeted by Jim the owner who is very friendly and welcoming.. The facilities in the cabin are superb everything you need for a short break, all in all a wonderful stay.

Fantastic, Relaxing and Friendly
From booking to leaving this has been a fantastic experience, in a perfect location and cabin.. The facilities in the cabin were fantastic, it was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, we were not expecting a leather suite!!! 3 star rating doesnt do Riverside Cabins justice. We had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable.. Thank you Jim we had a awesome stay

The past 7 nights have been truly wonderful. The river is clean and the forests are well taken care of. The trip to the De'ils cauldron ( note from Jim this is a local water fall) was exceptional; though the trail was a bit tough at times. The cabins and its facilities were very charming also. The locals have been very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and chatting with us, unlike in the cities

Our first time at the cabins and definitely plan on returning. Cabins have all you need ..and there's plenty of privacy. Have only met 1 owner Jim, who was really nice and approachable. Would recommend visiting the Devils Cauldron ( note from Jim an excellent local resaurant) in Comrie Thanks for a relaxing break Ps we would also recommend the Four Seasons hotel for a meal. It was lovely

Weather has been very kind to us- most of the week warm and sunny. Cabin well equipped with everything we needed. An evening sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine was very civilised

Had a wonderful relaxing week at Riverside Log Cabins. The scenery is marvellous and we so enjoyed watching the red kites . The cabin is very comfortable and we are looking forward to returning in the autumn

Our 3 night stay has been fabulous and both of us wish we had longer to explore the area more. We managed 3 circular walks, the Torlum Wood being the longest and most challenging but still very scenic and pleasant. We would highly recommend visiting Glenturret distillery just outside of Crieff... the staff were exteremly friendly but most importantly the alcohol was amazing!
This is our second saty at Jim & Liz's cabins ( the other being in Killin) and we have had a wonderful holiday in both..we'll most definitely be back

Our stay at the log cabin was great fun. We enjoyed it very much. The river was so cold. But we are in Spring so it was bound to be. We climbed Ben Lawers and it was cold and windy. When I got back to the caabin I felt better. Really better. It is so cosy and we love it. And we hope to come back soon.

"This is our third time back at Riverside Log Cabins and we really enjoyed our time here again.We went to Drummond Castle Gardens and could not have picked a better day. Crieff Pipe Band were playing and some Scottish Dancers were there too. The gardens were beautiful and worth seeing- very relaxing. Had a nice relaxing week"

"This is our first time visiting Comrie. We've had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute. The cabin was perfect with everything you need. Great location and fishing right on your doorstep.Lots of great places to visit. We enjoyed Scone Palace, magnificent gardens and The Big Trees. Blair castle also very beautiful , near to a lively town, Pitlochry, with lots of little shops to explore. We visited the Famous Grouse Experience..much better than I would have expected. Great Fun Day there!!!brilliant! Went to Loch Lomond for a long drive but the scenery was amazing, well worth the miles. Took a boat trip and went to the sea life aquarium..great day out for kids, excellent!!! Can't wait to return to this beautiful country. I hope you enjoy our visit as much as we did!"
